Units

Five units a race, the same five tiers for every race: two lines of infantry, a caster, a heavy unit and an elite. A tier needs its Barracks level; gold joins the price from tier 3. How the races differ →

Every figure here is at a world's normal pace, speed 1. A faster world scales them: at speed 2 every time halves and every rate doubles.

  • Upkeep is a unit's hourly bill in the field, inside your territory. A garrison at home, or an army in a guildmate's city, pays ×0.5; an army more than 6 hexes from every one of your cities pays ×1.5. Upkeep →
  • The time beside a speed is one open hex at that speed. An army marches at the average speed of its units, slower past 1,000 of them, and slower again over woods and hills. Movement →
  • Training is one unit at Barracks 0; every Barracks level trains faster.
